Description

Join Reverse Glass Painting specialist, Anne Dimock, as she leads you through in-depth, step-by-step demonstrations of the historically authentic reproduction of a fruit still life originally designed in the early 1800s and a charming etched gold leaf landscape. Other demonstrated techniques include stippling, glazing, sword-striping, stenciling, dot-to-dot and painting faces. As you learn and practice with this video, you will develop the craftsmanship required to master the enclosed designs and others available from HSEAD. The Historical Society of Early American Decoration proudly presents this video as part of its mission to preserve and reproduce 18th and 19th century designs. Anne Dimock has studied Reverse Painting on Glass with her teacher, Peg Emery, for over three decades. She is an Accredited Teacher and Specialist in Reverse Glass through HSEAD. She has received numerous awards from HSEAD and the National Watch and Clock Association, and her work has been featured in Early American Life’s Top 200 Craftsmen. Anne teaches private classes and seminars throughout the Northeast.
